by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart

Voice (Soprano)Voice (Baritone)ClassicalDuet~4 minintermediate

The seduction duet from Act I of Don Giovanni, in which Don Giovanni persuades the peasant girl Zerlina to accompany him. The music begins as an elegant dialogue and gradually merges into a rapturous duet in thirds and sixths. It is a masterpiece of operatic characterization through music, and one of the most frequently excerpted numbers from the opera.
